Songwriter Paul Delaney is an independent songwriter with a musical history spanning four decades. Paul learned his musical education from The University of Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Shirley Dyer.

While studying at university, Paul taught piano to both further his learning in the music business and for the joy of sharing the knowledge with students.

Today, Paul focuses on his songwriting as he strives to create pieces that fall into the genres of easy listening, instrumental, and pop. Capitol Riot, his latest work, took him outside of his usual comfort zone to produce a piece that was inspired by the sad incident in Washington D.C. during 2020. Other recent compositions of his are Hummingbird, For Louie, Wishing for a Waltz, Autumn Breeze, Remember Me, and Etude in G. Paul’s qualifications enable him to write in a variety of musical styles
