Anthem

“Anthem” is an interesting piece for me. As a competitive ballroom dancer, I was looking for something in 6/8 time that would be suitable for an American style\ Viennese Waltz. At first, I thought that the piano only arrangement would suffice. Then it was going to be an “80’s” style anthem song. After creating lyrics and finding a suitable vocalist, it morphed into a Motown song. For now, I’m going to leave it as just a simple solo piano expressing feelings from my soul.
